How to Get an Instagram Post Link
To download any Instagram content, you first need the direct URL. On the Instagram app, tap the three dots (⋯) on any post and select "Copy Link." On the Instagram website, simply copy the URL from your browser's address bar. For stories, you can copy the link while viewing the story by tapping the three dots.
Downloading Instagram Reels Without Watermark
Instagram Reels downloaded through the Instagram app come with a watermark showing the creator's username and the Instagram logo. Our tool bypasses this by directly accessing the original video file from Instagram's CDN (Content Delivery Network). This gives you the clean, watermark-free version of the Reel.
Downloaded Reels maintain their original quality — typically 1080x1920 pixels (Full HD) at 30fps. The audio is included and preserved at its original quality. If the Reel uses a trending audio track, that audio is embedded in the downloaded video.
Downloading Carousel Posts (Multiple Images)
Carousel posts can contain up to 10 photos or videos in a single post. When you paste a carousel post URL, our tool detects all media in the carousel and displays them individually. You can download each image/video separately or download all of them at once as a ZIP file.
Instagram Story Downloading
Instagram stories are temporary — they disappear after 24 hours. Our tool lets you save them before they vanish. Photo stories are saved as JPG files, and video stories are saved as MP4 files. The quality is the same as what you see on Instagram.
Important limitation: only stories from public accounts can be downloaded. If an account is private, you need to follow them and be logged in to view their stories, and our web tool cannot access private content.
Downloading Instagram Profile Pictures in HD
Instagram normally shows profile pictures as small 150x150 pixel circles. But the original uploaded photo is much larger — typically 320x320 or even higher resolution. Our profile picture downloader fetches the original full-size image so you can see it in all its detail.
Privacy and Public vs Private Accounts
Our tool can only download content from public Instagram accounts. This is by design — we respect users' privacy settings.
